Jim Molloy has been involved with Ireland's musical and operatic scene for more that fifty years, and established Jim Molloy Promotions over twelve years ago, with the aim of assisting and encouraging the development of young Irish talent, staging numerous productions in the National Concert Hall, Dublin. From La Scala to the Met series in which many young Irish artists took part. In the past few years he has embarked on another series of concerts entitled "Classics from Broadway" and "The Joy of the Musicals". His revival of "The Irish Ring", "The Lily of Killarney", "The Bohemian Girl" and "Maritana" played to capacity audiences both in Dublin, Carnegie Hall New York, Baltimore and New Jersey USA. Since 2002 Jim Molloy Promotions has presented "West Side Story", "The Great Waltz" and "42nd Street" in the Gaiety Theatre Dublin and "The Pirates of Penzance" in the Helix Theatre.
